Creative direction + design for gooood
I Live Here I Give Here is a highly-visible Austin-based organization, dedicated to raising funds for Central Texas Nonprofits. Over the past three years, I’ve creative directed, designed, art directed, and illustrated their brand and marketing materials to help them look good as they do good.
One extremely fun project to work on was Amplify Live, a benefit concert that raised money for local Austin Nonprofits. Held at the Historic Scoot Inn, concert posters were used to decorate the space and get people in the mood to rock (and donate).
Having the privilege of working for a lean nonprofit means making the design hours count x10. I supported scaled marketing efforts by creating detailed brand guidelines, easy-to-use templates, and documents they can leverage to launch social, create collateral, run ads and much more.
A particularly rewarding aspect of this project was getting to illustrate - and more specifically, illustrate the 19 cause categories that I Live Here I Give Here supports:
